This guy just went out of his way to write an insane thread on balance and honestly if more people thought and discussed about these subjects this way then LoL would already be fixed. Seriously if you have got like 15 minutes of spare time, read all of it. This guy does not disappoint

I have no idea why that post only has 20 upvotes.
The first comment in that post explains it:
Way too long for my short attention span.
I mean, that post just says a bunch of things that have been said before (ad nauseam), but it's longer, less directed, and worse formatted.
I'm not saying that it doesn't contain good points. But it adds nothing new to the discussion except bringing several arguments together in a poorly structured rant. At least it's not an angry rant, I guess.
For a specific example of why I dislike the post: He never went into more detail about why we need way more items in general. Where did he get that idea? What would it solve? Are more item choices supposed to improve inter-class balance, fun, in-game responses to hard-counters, or what? He never gets back around to that point or connects it with any of the rest of the post. It's just one of many, many unsupported assertions that really should be it's own post.
Why would riot engage in a constructive and substantive discussion, they haven't taken the boards seriously for years and they've convinced themselves that the boards don't matter.
Why are ppl pretending that the top tier toplaners are tanks when there's literally 
the only one strong in SoloQ? (and he's getting nerfs on the PBE in the wrong way imo, just nerf his E, not his Q)
And I'm not talking only about pickrate because bruisers are more fun to play than tanks, bruisers right now have higher pickrate and winrate than tanks (and 
is a weird ap bruiser, not a tank)
Although pro play is other story.
Balanced around pro play they won't nerf ya even though he not viable in pro play
