I don't because it is not needed as a carpenter. Example from yesterday: carrying 200 lb, 30 foot long trusses and then sliding them across the already set ones to my brother on the other end of the house is plenty of cardio for me. I am also always carrying from 10-20 lbs (depending on number of nails/staples) all day every day around my waste as I go about my work.

well similar to alien primate , i work as an auto tech in a shop in hot temps ( summer/texas) then when i do go to gym i get do different types of cardio.

1 is 4 miles on elliptical machine /about 35 mins or so . this is pretty fast past just under 9 mins a mile. 2 is HIIT cardio , warm up for about 10 mins then 2 mins high intensity, 5 min cool down , and then 2 min high, 5 min cool down. do this about 5 times total 3 is low intensity elliptical or treadmill for about 30 4 is high intensity lift routine, set of 3 or 4 depending on machine/muscle group usually 10 reps per set with a min cool down . typically start like bench/chest to leg press to lat pull downs, to legs, to arms, to back , to chest , to arms, to legs, to back doing a full body work out typically about 50 mins to do about 12-14 machines/lifts

and i rotate which one im doing, typically go gym every other day, 3 days with the lift/weights with one of the cardio workout of either 2, 3 and then 1 day that i dont do weights i do the #1 cardio
