"AFK" in ranked

TIL if your game crashes and you try your hardest to reconnect, actually reconnect and play your hardest and still pull out a win in ranked, you're still punished for it and won't receive LP for it. If your game crashes in ranked, you're better off not wasting your time and reconnecting if you can't immediately reconnect. Just leave it and go do something else. They're incentivizing people to just give up and not try. Opened a ticket to get that fixed and they told me tough luck.

Buy an SSD, you can get 250GB for ~$25€ already, it cuts down the loading time and allows you to reconnect super quickly. PC will restart in 10 seconds.

It doesn't matter whether the AFK was intentional or not. You have no way of proving that it did crash and therefore no way for the system to not punish you. Generally, after 10 minutes of AFK, it counts you as intentionally leaving and therefore deducts your LP. Even if you didn't mean to leave, your teammates still had to play that much harder to win than if you were there. Whats support ticket gonna do, give you the win? They can't do that because they have no proof that the AFK wasn't intentional.

Dont search it Riot system is bullshit.

It has happened to me but the difference was that i was afk FOR 5 MINUTES. I played the WHOLE 40 minutes game,won and got a nice "AFK" present

You don't just not gain lp btw you actually lose lp. You are in your first 10 games which means you will never lose lp but you will lose mmr. The first 10 games determine where you get placed so you can only gain lp. Trust me I've had it back when I lived with my mom she would shut my laptop off just Cus I couldn't hear her through my headphones. It would take me 6 minutes to get back in and we would win and it felt so great.

Until you see the end screen and you lost lp even thought you tried hard and won. Its not like we can control outside forces for our computers turning off so why should we get punished so heavily. Not to mention leaverbuster.

I"m pretty sure Riot doesn't care about the every day player. Only the so called Pros. They never answer forums on here or fix tickets in a good way to be honest. I'm ready to kick the programmers right square in the ballsacs.
