I just played a couple ranked games, despite telling myself I wouldn't, and they were absolutely awful. I just want to know, since I have played two games and been given a provisional rank, does the provisional rank count as my actual rank? For example, when season 9 ends will it say on my profile that I am unranked since I did not complete 8 games, or will it use my provisional rank?
Save yourself the trouble. If you've never done ranked before, quit while you're ahead. Keep to norms and other fun game modes. I wish someone stressed this to me enough when I first started playing. The ranked scene honestly feels like you're working at a job where you get paid less than minimum wage and work harder than the rest of your co workers who get paid twice what you get paid. The whole time, losing your home, your car, and your sanity.
But yeah, if you don't complete them you don't get placed.
If I can save one, my job is done.
