Your thoughts on paradox interactive as a company

I remember a few months ago with the release of battlefront 2 EA got a deserved roasting.

Now there is paradox interactive who released such titles as ck 2 (a great game btw) EU 4, the hearts of iron series and now stellaris. Yet they have a tendency to release games that really should be marketed as early access and charge you an arm and a leg to basically patch the game in yhe form of dlc.

Why does EA take the beating but Paradox atleast appear to get a free ride.

Because they aren't as big.
Because they have free updates to go along with the expansions.
Because there isn't any bullshit and you come into this knowing they will do this, and they admitted it before hand.
You are paying for what you get and there isn't bullshit like lootboxes with pay to win mechanics.

Paradox occupies a niche corner of the market and not a mainstream one?

Stellaris is great btw.
