Gd you create chlorine gas by mixing ammonia with bleach right?

I just cleaned up cat urine with pure bleach then realized a second later i might've done something bad. I read online that urine is not the same as ammonia however other things were saying that isn't true.

Am i good? Just in case what can i do to neutralize this?

Don't use raw bleach on anything your pet is going to be sitting on.

Don't use raw bleach ever really but w/e. As long as we're talking about accidentally creating dangerous material does anybody know if putting [REDACTED] in [REDACTED] creates [REDACTED] or is that just an urban myth

If you're really worried, call emergency services and tell them what's happened. They'll let you know if you need to seek help. Be polite; let them know upfront you're not certain it's an emergency, and apologize if it turns out not to be.

For future cleaning, there are natural animal-related mess cleaning solutions over here. They work really well and don't have any chemicals in them at all. Maybe your country has some too, it might be worth looking.

Cat urine does have ammonia. Likely not in such quantities that you should really be worried, since household bleaches have low chlorine levels too. But yes, that reaction will liberate chlorine gas (Cl2) and hydrochloric acid (HCl) as intermediates. The fumes you see are actually probably chloramines (NH2Cl), which you don't want to breathe in either.

Did a yellow-green gas form? If not, then you're fine. There isn't enough ammonia to produce much of anything there. My chem teacher in high school once was on the phone and stupidly poured bleach into the sink that she hadn't rinsed yet that had some ammonia in it and instantly it released a greenish gas and she ran out of the house. I'd just stay clear for a bit and never use bleach for something like that again =P

If you wiped away the pee first then you should be fine. Not really enough ammonia at that point to create the chemical effect.

Dilute with water. You're not supposed to throw bleach on anything as a general rule, you're not a scientist. Water should neutralize whatever catastrophe you're preparing to some extent.

Use vinegar to clean out cat urine.

It does create chlorine gas, and if you're not fucked up yet, you're probably good. Just Open a window or something, get a fan going. Also what Atrocity said
