Honestly to fix the Blue Essence/IP issue you need to give each capsule a minimum value.

When the champions you're getting out of crates are mostly low costing it feels like a rip off. So let's do some math.

Right now I'm at 264 xp out of 2784 needed to level up. Or 2520 XP left for a level up.

First win of the day is giving near or around 700-800 XP. While other games are giving on average 100-200 xp. So for simplicity's sake we're going to have one first win of the day and the rest be normal games. Each game considered an average of 150 xp.

2520 - the 800 = 1720 / 150 = 11.5/12. So it took us 13 games to level up.

In the old system you'd get about 200 IP for a first win of the day and 50-100 per normal win. Again just for simplicity's sake.

In the old system we have the 1 game for 200 IP plus the 12 games at 75 IP for 1100 IP.

So again, doing rough and mostly inaccurate math. The value of the capsule should be at minimal 1100 IP due to the amount of games played to obtain it.

How much value do you actually get out of capsules? Well it varies widely.

It can be two 1350 champions and a 450 champion for a whopping 630 IP. Great value.

Or you can get lucky and get more.

But when these crates are giving you significantly lower BE than the IP counterpart due to bad RNG you've essentially told your playerbase to go fuck themselves.

Riot's really going to need to hit the books, figure out what the minimal value of a capsule should be by having it relate to the amount of games played to obtain it, and give fitting rewards.

Otherwise you have a system that tells players they should only play 1 game a day because otherwise the reward for playing is shitty.

As the other person said, the minimum is 810 and the average is in the 900s somewhere that I don't remember off the top of my head.
