8-9-53 (61 combined out of 67 = 91% kill participation) and a freaking A-?!

I am getting incredibly frustrated at getting my last S token for Sona mastery 7.

We just won a Poro King game where we had no ADC and no tank, and only won just because I was able to stay alive and freaking low key under the radar carry. I don't mean to say that my team was useless or anything like that. The S+ (22-14-21) Zed was our best killer, (19-20-18) Heimer's turrets were very useful, the (7-17-27) Amumu soaked up a ton of damage considering he wasn't going tanky and had a huge CC score at end, and the (11-17-17) Zoe did as good as he could since he crashed twice and was basically afk for 1/3rd the match as a result. Major props to all of them for keeping the game going and for as a team winning a match that two of our other players had more or less given up were chatting about how it was "over at champ select screen" and congratulating the enemy team on all chat. But seriously Riot only an A- for my own (8-9-53) Sona play?

We played against a strong enemy team. (22-8-35) Sion, (26-17-26) Akali, (6-15-43) Zed, (14-15-29) Jhin, (9-12-21) Zoe. And they spent a good deal of time deliberately target hunting me since I was healing and keeping my team alive so much.

I healed more damage than anyone on my team took - hell I healed more damage than even the best enemy player did against us solo, and I personally mitigated as much damage as I healed because the enemy were hard hunting me, and it doesn't even give a stat for how many times my speed boost saved an ally who was being chased. Our entire team only got 67 kills yet I was in on 61 of them for a 91% kill participation value, while the next best teammate only had a 43/67 participation (funny enough he got an S+ for his 64% participation 22/14/21 and was also our only player with a positive kdr - I don't doubt he played hard but so did I, Riot!) On three separate occasions I was last one standing and yet both stayed alive and prevented enemy from taking a turret or the final nexus and the one time i was dead for at the very end I respawned in just in time to chase the enemy off our nexus with less than 1/3rd of a bar left, I did the most damage of anyone on our team to enemy objectives including personally getting last hit on 2 of them which tied for most on my team, and finally I hit all but 2 poro tosses while dodging all but 1... for that matter I even had a relatively high cs count as a support without even trying for that... and yet I only get a freaking A- for all that?! Riot what is this?! -_-

I am very tilted right now after a victory that I struggled so hard to achieve. I was so happy as their nexus fell... I thought I was going to feel overjoyed about finally after ages getting my third mastery 7 S token so I could finally finish up Sona. ... Until I actually got to the after game lobby. Instead of feeling satisfaction that my hard work is rewarded... I get this A- slap in the face. -_-

I am so very tilted right now it was all I could do to not swear when I saw this A- thing and I never swear. In the last ten years of online gaming I have only got angry enough to curse and rage once. But today almost made it twice. I understand that Sona apparently is a strong enough character that it may be easier to get good results on her, but how the hell did this effort not qualify for an S, and for that matter did not even get an S-? O_o

I tossed on a poll to this asking if anyone else had ever been robbed like this. If anyone wants to vote I gave two legit possible opinion answers and an option I tossed in just for laughs but knowing this community may actually win. Feel free to post your opinions on this thread as well. Even if it is just to flame me for my rant here. [sona-playing]
