Dear Riot Games

Dear Riot Games, I love your game! I have spent four years playing and trying to get better and better. Also, I have spent quite a bit of money on champs, skins, etc. I have been playing ranked on and off for the past three years, with no real commitment and never leaving Bronze. But with the arrival of Season 9, I decided to harness my skill and steel myself for the climb to come. Sadly, I feel worse than ever. After being mocked and ridiculed for being Bronze, getting placed automatically at Iron 4 doesn't feel good. I'm sure you had a reason to add another tier bellow Bronze, but I don't get it. I felt bad that I was bellow the average player when I was Bronze, constantly asking, "Am I really that bad? Do I really have that little skill? Why do I even keep playing if I haven't improved at all in four years?" These questions have been coming to mind all the more often, not helping with my already low self-esteem and self-confidence. With my commitment and love of this game, I wish MY improvements would show in my rank. I understand if you disagree with me on these matters, I understand, but I only want some form of... Well anything. If their are any tips you could give me or anything at all, please let me know. I hope you respond.

What's your average ping and fps?

its a team game, but there is no question that individual player agency has gone down this season and the game is more team dependent than ever before, as far as league in 2019 the saying "You are only as strong as your weakest player" has never been more true and it makes this game far more stressful and frustrating to play than in previous seasons, where 1 lane Sh*tting the bed wasn't necessarily going to quickely snowball and warp the whole game.

Any ranked reset that happens I wish to be added to the list of players who request one on themselves - please refer to this tweet https://twitter.com/RiotSapMagic/status/1098820557385084928

About being "mocked and ridiculed" -- you just need to get a thick skin and laugh it off. If it helps you, /mute all is a good option, as it also enables you to focus on YOUR game, and your game only. There's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of being in low elo -- most of the player base is. If you're serious about climbing, there are tons of guides out there. But there's also nothing wrong with just playing for fun. If ranked stresses me out, I just play normals and I'm enjoying it a great deal. You can experiment, make risky decisions to test your champ, learn new champs, and generally goof around a little. Don't make your self-esteem depend on your rank in a video game. Take it as what it is: a game. Sure, the bragging rights of being in Plat+ are nice, but getting there is a pretty thorny road, and it can ruin your gaming experience and make you a bitter person. Don't be like that. Cheers and good luck!

Its very possible to play for 4 years and not climb, it really matters on how proactive you are at getting better and how much you reflect, when you lose a game think, how much cs did i have? how many deaths did i have? where did that team fight go wrong and what could i possibly have done better?

looking at your op.gg your doing well, but you need to bring up your cs and you might want to narrow your champ pool and get really good at those champs
