I swear, some people don't seem to understand what freedom of speech covers anymore.
Freedom of speech only means the government can't arrest you for what you say, that's it. It was a restriction placed on ruling government's use of power, and NOT something to do with everyday interaction or anything like that, at least not directly. In other words, it never says that people can't get triggered or offended, or that you can say whatever you want without responsibilities, consequences or the requirement to be considerate of the others; nor does it prevent people from protesting or boycotting another due to disagreements, as because they too, can express what they want which includes bashing you for your comments, just as you can express your views.

Egg is offensive towards humans because humans cannot lay eggs whereas birds, reptiles, fish, etc can lay eggs. Therefore you are being EXCLUSIONARY towards HUMANS which makes HUMANS very TRIGGERED
