Next week may be a good chance for Riot to show some love for one of their older champs

For those who don't know, next week (June 12th) marks 9 years since the release of one of League's older champions, Karthus. He's a champ who's remained my one and only main since I picked him up back in I think Season 4, and I've played him almost exclusively ever since.

Now, everyone knows that Karthus is considered one of the more unpopular champions, due to various reasons, but the reasons are not why we're here today. I've always felt that Riot just didn't give enough attention to our resident Deathsinger, (although I suppose that Pentakill video sorta helped a bit) and I wish we'd get some more stuff for him sometimes. His last skin was 2 years ago, he hasn't gotten any merchandise yet, and not very often he gets showcased in social media. I just wish Riot would give Karthus some more attention is all.

June 12th would be the perfect opportunity to do so Riot, what do you think?

Nah, June 12th next year. The 10th year anniversary is always more meaningful than the 9th.

In seriousness though? Unless Riot already had something planned and basically far enough along to release on the PBE, a week is an impossible deadline.

I actually started playing Karthus a month or two ago after 5 years of League and never realized how fun he was until then.
