... Voice chat is going to be hilarious.

I am honestly, so fucking excited for voice chat in league.

The amount of toxicity in the game already + a way to hear the person rage over mic?

I'm in.

The content for youtube is going to make some hilarious videos.

I'm muting chat every game and solely living in voice chat. Hearing the voice of the people that usually flame in this game is going to take all the "power" away from them.

A guy flamed me on friday, and linked his youtube channel in the post game lobby. Turns out the dude telling me that he's going to fuck my sister, and calling me "kid", was a 15 year old kid from Minnesota with a lisp and a lazy eye, who ran a Minecraft/league youtube channel.

Honestly, it tilted me when we were in game. Sometimes people say some shit that just gets to you, so seeing his youtube channel, and who he is outside of league helped me cool off a bit, and I was able to laugh at it afterwards. So voice chat is going to cut out that middle man, and probably lower toxicity.

"I'm going to fuck your thith-ter" (Lisp version of "I'm going to fuck your sister")

wouldn't tilt anyone.

Edit: getting word that League voice chat is only for premades..

Thats fucking pointless, we use discord. Everyone uses discord now:P this isnt WoW 2008 where people are fighting over ventrillo, curse, skype, and a hundred other voice chats.. everyone uses discord.

I have zero interest in ever hearing the voice of any of these fuckers I get matched with.

If they ever do introduce voicechat with randoms, that'll be the day I uninstall.

I rarely have met people that are toxic in voice chat. Talking is usually far better than text not only because you can say stuff faster than writing (usually) but it also adds some... warmth, empathy in it. A real person talking will be less liable to flame than someone who just types words and for all you know is just a machine.

Wasn't it only supposed to be for premade teams?

Literally a nothing burger if that is the case.

I feel you, kinda.

Its still getting flamed, but if you actually hear the Voice, it can sound so pathetic, dumb or whatever that it feels less bad than just reading the flame.

Personally ill instamute every Voicechat User. I just never liked random talking.

I think voice chat in solo q would be great, flamers you mute them.. people who wanna win and not be toxic will be fine and win more games cause of it.. Csgo it works just fine, It's not difficult to picture i just dont understand why all these meatheads think its bad for everyone lol

premades only

And after playing DOTA 2 for a while, it stopped being funny and got pretty cringy tbh

It's only for premade teams. League will never officially have voice chat in-game with randoms for the time being. Unless that premade consisted of randoms that's the only exception.

I need to hear a conversation with 5 12 years old bronzes. Even better if there's a russian shouting cyka blyat

Lucky me, I don't have to deal with the bronze 12 year olds. People in gold pretty much never talk in chat, so... and if they use voice chat, most won't abuse it until plat lol
