Riot to sue THQ Nordic for stealing trailer concept.

Upon the release of the Destroy All Humans! remake, Riot is pressing charges for copying the trailer concept from them. "I mean, it's that obvious," Phreak declared. "Both sing songs to a crowd that gets hypnotized somehow, both destroy their environments, and both promote their games." Lawsuit dates are to be determined. Links to both are provided so you can judge.

I mean they are similar but legal action seems kinda ridiculous, especially from a company like Riot who copied Dota to make LoL and copied auto-chess to make TFT.

It's sad that the only spokesperson I can possibly name is Phreak. These would be a lot more funny otherwise.

The lack of pyrotechnics ruined the trailer for me.

Sorry, but then I want Sega to sue Rito first.

Everyone knows the Morolians were the first one to hypnotize people, forcing them to dance!

Not to forget that they copy other game/book/movie characters for their skin lines and DEFAULT skin/character design and don't even make it subtle.

We got Lucious Malfoy Swain. FFX Tidus' Father Swain. Pool Party Traced Celebrity Picture Graves. KPop Stolen Outfit and Dance Routine Ahri. Sailor Moon skin line. Tron skin line. Toy Story skin line. Silent Hill 2 Tryndamere. Ezreal anime dance emote. Ghibli white thingy things Bard chimes. Overwatch Mc Cree Hanzo Yasuo and Jhin. BOWSER, NINTENDO BOWSER RAMMUS. Jurassic Park Chogath and Kogmaw. The Mighty Ducks Jax.

But hey, when they do it, it's not plagiarism, it's called "being inspired", "parody", "hommage". Aka the american synonym for plagiarism.

OC do not steal, along the levels of DeviantArt Sonic OC fanart. "Inspired".

Ask an american why their creation is almost an identical copy of something that already exists, they will answer with:

"Inspired" (synonym: plagiarized)

"I had no idea that existed, honest" (Hunger Games -> Battle Royale)
