I don't play summoner's rift. I stop playing SR a long time ago. I've been playing Aram for years. My only issue with Aram is riot forcing me to play a champ i don't own. Today a new patch came out focusing on Aram. The game mode I enjoy the most. Played the new aram. I hate it. Ban champs in a random champ select game? Force to make the game mode faster? Most matches last less then 20 minutes. Less poke damage? Poke damage requires skill shots. Requires Mana. Why take something good and revamp it? I've never post on the forums. I spend over a 1000 bucks on skins for champs to make them look extra fun. I'm a simple man who enjoys group pvp in aram. You lost 1 fan with this patch. I'll wait till April 15.

Ban champs in a random champ select game?

Game has never been random and never will be unless all champions are unlocked. You can blame ARAM-accounts for all the changes made to the mode.

The changes are meant to curb the increasing amount of ARAM-only accounts. Have you ever played against one? Against multiple in a single match? Let me tell you it is no fun when you are facing Anivia, Azir, Morgana, Brand, Caitlyn, LeBlanc, Blitzcrank, Zyra, Heimerdinger, Ziggs, Ahri, Janna, Sona, Karma, etc, every single time without fail.

ARAM-only accounts are basically made to cheese through the randomized aspect of the game mode in order to have a better chance at winning, rather than putting two teams that are dependent on who knows their champion the best. You could have M7 across the board but it won’t do anything if the enemy team has you pinned behind your turrets the entire game.

If you played only ARAM and somehow missed that Mages are dominant in the mode and people had accounts to be more likely to get them then I'm glad no one like you is anywhere near Riot's balance or development teams. I barely play ARAM and when my friends want to its super easy to call who's going to win based on the number of mages on each team, there's exceptions ofc but other than tanks scaling to endure the mages and setting up kills or something similar mages win.

If the all random nature of the mode is to be supported all roles should be useful, not just poke and poke and poke. Also those giant AoEs stop being "skill"shots when your only room to move is a tiny lane, this isn't summoner's rift where you have a jungle or river to kite through or multiple lanes.

Hey man im right there with you, I do have an aram only account but I never use it. I prefer my main account because I ENJOY playing off meta aram champs like olaf/kayn/ etc etc... the changes, bleh I hope they don't keep most of em especially the dumb map I hate pirates.

That's just whatever is on free-week usually.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here? Depending on what champion you're playing, yeah you might have skill shots in the kit, but it's always been that way? Even with requiring mana, they haven't made any changes to mana, as far as I can recall.
