Some thoughts on Yuumi

  1. Yuumi cannot 1v1.

She needs a quality of life improvement on her Q and E, and forced off her host every few seconds.

What other champ cannot 1v1 in this game at all? Maybe really tanky champs like blitz crank? But he is a tank and peels for the ADC, so he can take it. Yuumi is easily 1 shoted. Maybe take away some of her squishyness?

My solution to this problem and to make Yuumi users auto attack enemy's is to have her kicked out of her host's body every 6 secs or every so often. This way you have to auto attack and you can pop back in for a heal and a skill shot.

Right now you can stay in your host's forever, or until they die. This is not fair to the ADC who is constantly being targeted. This is the most troll design you could ever put on a champ. Talk about tilting your teammates. She has to be forced out periodically so the ADC feels like they are not by themselves and also, more afk prevention this way.

Food for thought - What if you made Yuumi's W scale later into the game allowing her to stay in the Host for longer duration's of time, kind of like Kayle's scaling.

  1. Yuumi isn't supposed to be able to 1v1. There are a handful or more of champions that aren't designed for 1 on 1 situations at all. Yuumi's strength comes from team fighting, I wouldn't expect her to be good on her own. Soraka comes to mind at someone who does not function well by herself.

"Yuumi is making ADCs feel like they are in a 1v2" Well, they AREN'T; even if the Yuumi stays attached the whole time, she's still providing shields and heals, slows, etc. Besides that, BAD Yuumis stay attached the entire game. Her passive requires auto attacks, and if Yuumi is attached, she can't auto. So naturally, she is required to unattach strategically in order to proc her passive.

Yuumi isn't supposed to just stay attached all game. She is supposed to jump from ally to ally, and occasionally unattach altogether for passive, better ult positioning, etc. While she's attached she's UNTARGETABLE, meaning she literally can't be hurt or stunned. She can also jump ship to a safer ally nearly instantly. The price for these benefits is she is really squishy, and does not want to be on an ally who dies.

If they would buff anything, I can think of two things: W range and her passive. A passive buff would encourage Yuumi players to unattach more, and actually learn how to properly flit around a fight. The W range is a usability thing: Yuumi relies heavily on teammate positioning, and right now allies aren't consistently positioning for Yuumi's sake. 500 range is actually rather short for the ability type. To compare, Rakan's E is 700 (1000 for Xayah), Lee Sin's W is 700, and Braum's W is 650. A range buff would make her slightly less reliant on her allies' positioning.

Lets wait until she has been out for more then 48 hours to decide if she needs QoL changes already. She probably feels bad because no one knows how to play her yet.
