Smurfs as a new player

So I'm a fairly new player, played it back in 2014 because I thought LoL is an MMORPG. Now I'm back and I'm trying to get back into it. So I was playing 3v3, playing Pyke jungle, because I thought it would be fun.

Then Jarvan died and I killed the creeps in his lane so they wouldn't attack his tower (he was still dead). Then he said he'd report me because I'm trolling?

Like I said, I'm fairly new and still trying to learn the game. Is it really that bad to kill lane minions when you're an jungler in 3v3? I wasn't doing it constantly, I was mainly killing jungle camps. So is it really that bad to kill creeps in 3v3 when someone is dead and the enemy attacks the tower? I'm really discouraged to keep playing LoL, because every game it feels like everybody is a smurf but me.

Yeah you’re fine. You did the right thing because that goldnwiuld go to waste. Just don’t even worry about people that say they’ll report you, as long as you aren’t instigating a reason to be reported.

just play and mute your teammates if he wants to report you then let him you didnt break any rules by farming the lane he was absence from for being dead.

now as you learn the game and go forward knowing when to take cs in a lane and went not to depends on how the wave is positioned and if its pushing or frozen etc . but just play and as you get more experience you will learn this ( or watch a streamer or look up wave management videos on youtube)
