Hey Riot, is a new champion coming out before October 16?

I know Rito games doesn't like to prematurely announce things before the pods in charge of making a champ are ready, but a simple yes or no is all I need. The Star Guardian tokens expire on the 16th and I own every champion, I already crafted the ward skin and the other 4 can only go towards a mystery permanent champion. Will there be a champion out before the thing goes away, or should I just craft it for blue dust now? Or is it some kind of token that I craft it but it doesn't become a specific champion shard until I activate it, letting me keep it around until the next champ releases?
