New Way to Buy Skins
Since we can use both Blue Essence and RP as payment for champions, wouldn't it make sense to use Orange Essence as well to buy skins along with RP?

You can already do that if you have the skin shard. They aren't going to make it so you can do it directly from the store or that will cut into sales massively.
Although this would improve quality of life for players, it would completely destroy Riot's financial situation that would result in less updates/new gameplay because of money. This already occured when they first introduced hextech chests although it wasn't as apparent because it was pretty hard to get things you wanted fast.
