I finally landed a job. Going in for training sometime this week.

Woohoo!

Between that and running 10 miles in the last 2 days, I'm feeling pretty good!

Not even the nerve injury in my elbow that I discovered I'd had since I was 10 years old and will make weightlifting impossible unless I get it fixed can keep me down! (just kidding, it's still really keeping me down)

More details on the elbow thing: It's an issue with my ulnar nerve in my elbow. There are two options, physical therapy that may or may not work and open elbow surgery with 6 months of recovery.

I am really hoping that the PT is going to work, or I'm essentially just not going to lift again because 6 months of recovery on my dominant hand is just too much.

Meanwhile my left knee is damaged somehow ever since I was quite young and it's bending to the side a bit (it's also larger than my other knee for some reason). Thankfully it's not that big of a deal so I am not disabled or anything, but I do get a bit of a funny slightly tilted walking posture and inconsistent steps (I do get the occasional "the look" when I walk, sometimes my insecurity would kick in and I instinctively pretend to have a broken leg or something...); though it does affect my balance and that I can not run/jog/sprint properly and not for long periods due to potential knee pain. And I have other health issues too.

And I still haven't found a job.
