Riot's decisions make no sense sometimes.

Not increasing PBE player capacity basically means they don't care about having more players testing the game mode. Either that or they don't care about our bug reports at all. Or maybe I'm just r%%%%%ed and don't know what I'm talking about, that's usually the case.

The pbe server capacity is based off of the usage by the players.

Once tft goes to the live server the pbe server population will return to normal player capacity meaning if the my invested in more capacity they would have to maintain it when it isn’t needed 99% of the time.

They don't care... once you realize that all their decisions make sense.

You just have to understand they don't give two shts. They go into work, change some range stuff, and punch out. Its just a 9 to 5 for them and they don't want the game to be better, more balanced, or even work. They just want their manager to shut up and to think about the weekend. They simply say whatever it is they think will make you shut up on the forums.

It's gonna launch next week, spending a ton of money on server capacity they'll only need for 3-4 days is a waste of money. They're already getting a ton of feedback and a ton of people playing the mode, they don't really need more.

They never intended to increase the PBE player capacity. As a matter of fact, PBE isn't about playtesting. They literally have playtesters for that. It's to see how anything functions in a live setting, without the live setting.
