I saw Venom
So I had to evacuate for the hurricane hitting florida soon. Well, i didnt have to but I didn't want to stick around for that bullshit if I didn't have to.
I had to cover for the night person yesterday because they didnt want to come to work, and its free money so I agreed to. Didn't end up leaving until 8 am because we had to lock up the property before leaving.
I got 2 hours sleep and drove away and it was too early to check in to my hotel so I figured I'd go see a movie to kill time. I wasnt even planning on going to see Venom because it got really bad reviews but I was like whatever. I ended up buying the wrong ticket. I wanted imax venom but got the regular but i said fuck it and went into the imax theatre
It was a pretty okay movie. The action kinda good and kinda lame, like the final fight i didn't know wtf was going on. The dynamic between Venom and Eddie Brock was the best part of the movie.
