Perma Bans, do they help?

I've had a couple accounts banned. I'm not really tripping I was toxic...i guess. For the most part ill just repetitively ask for ganks or if my team ints just kinda stop caring and pay more attention to YouTube. A lot of times the most "toxic" things ive said have been in response to similar from my team. But w/e I really dont mind making new accounts. Pretty fun to stomp newbies. Which is why I ask. Do they help? Or is it just a lazy way of ignoring other problems in the game?

It helps more than the alternatives -permanent chat restrictions, temp bans, giving banned accounts 8th chances, etc- so, yeah. And permabans aren't even as thorough as they'd like, since they honestly just want you to gtfo and never come back once they ban you, they just can't go further without causing lots of other problems.

RIOT as well as many people think it helps but in reality it does nothing because the game is free to play and you can make as many accounts as you wish. Only a delusional person would think that it helps even a little bit when there are so many alternatives and prevention measures they can take but the focus is in the act and not the cause because developers are the smartest stupid people in gaming and lack the common sense and the initiative to actually do the leg work. I have suggested many times different things and will do so no more as those ideas are met with the very thing they are banning. It is what it is and until someone smart wakes the F@@K up this will always be the norm in gaming. So feel free to make as many accounts as you wish because it doesn't really matter how many times you get banned.

Honestly for me, and I feel like a lot of people, I'm not really a toxic guy. Which is why my accounts normally go through phases of getting my honor back. But when you get like 4 games in a row where there is realistically nothing you could have done to win...then yeah my patience thins. Honestly if they would just fix their awful matchmaker I bet a lot of toxicity would diminish and only truly toxic people will stand out. Shouldnt be destroy or be destroyed.
