I'm level 21, and still too poor to afford a 2nd Champion.

I am literally too poor not to only play Yorick. Not just that, but the 5-8 champions with designs I'm most interested in (Yorick, Ornn, Illaoi, Swain, Kled, etc.) are all top. Of the 3 basic champions (Brand, Garen, and Ashe) only Brand is even close to being remotely fun to play - Garen and Ashe are the most boring, vanilla champions in the whole game and Brand is barely any better. I got a whole bunch of Champion shards for Champions I don't care about (Rammus, Xin Zhao, like 5 boring eye-candy champions like Ahri and Miss Fortune...), but if I disenchant them I can get them again in the future, so by holding onto them I can try and wait until I get a shard for an interesting champion. But, until then, I'm stuck on 5.2k blue essence and can't afford a cool-looking mid like Ekko or a cool ADC like Jhin. I wish I could play draft or ARAM, but I can't unless I want to waste my hard-earned blue essence on boring, cheap champions like Kayle, and then I'll be stuck occasionally having to play them too. I am completely burned out on trying to learn new champions on free rotation only to have them taken away and having to learn someone new again. What am I supposed to do, exactly?

Edit: Woops, I posted from my old account, on which I only owned Yorick, Cho'Gath, and like 5 cheap champions I bought for ARAM. I had to make a new account because I was already level 29 (now 33) I had no opportunities to earn more blue essence, so I figured that account was (for all intents and purposes) broken by the blue essence update and I had to make a new one if I ever wanted to afford a new champion.

You're supposed to endure lol or pull out your wallet, thats the purpose of the BE system.

Disenchant the shards of the champions you don't care about and get the ones you do?

The problem is you're trying to focus on high-cost champions.

Generally, you want to avoid outright purchasing expensive champions like that. Grab them from the shards instead.

Also, you're level 33, not 21...And your last match was played two and a half months ago.

Stop trying to rush into the expensive champs. There's plenty of cheaper ones that feel great to play. Also disenchant your shards. If the champ doesn't interest you holding onto the shard is pointless.

Im leveling a new account too, and i find the new process of acquiring champs much easier then it used to be. I just use the shards and end up only paying half price for the champion. If im currently not interested i just keep the shard anyways... who knows maybe in a week or two your views on a particular champion will change... still waiting for my Ziggs shard.
