Sylas has a shield, a dash, healing, AOE, a knockup, a slow, and extra low health damage.
His Q is a skillshot/AOE hybrid, it's not a point and click.
Although not shown in the video, his E is a skillshot.
He gets (and needs) a shield/heal because he isn't going to be tanky. He's going to be a mage with (I assume) the stats of someone like Karthus, AKA he'll die quickly when focused. You can't design an immobile champion without any sort of defensive/mobility abilities because they would never survive in any meta of League.
Not to mention the craziness that is ult stealing. I mean....seriously Riot? How much does one champ need in his kit? Sylas is a symptom of the problem with this game and why it is no longer fun to play.
Sylas has one of the most tame kits to come out in a while. The only outstanding ability/factor he's got is going to be his ultimate, which can only be as strong as the ultimate that's being stolen.
Let's let him hit live before we make assumptions like these.
