Just make a new champion spotlight if you're changing the champion. It's extremely confusing for new players. There are many outdated champion spotlights now. Miss Fortune, Alistar, Vladimir..
Akalis and Irelias spotlights are ALREADY outdated, even though they were recently released
Because Riot doesn't think through their fucking reworks/relaunches. They are making them because those champions don't sell shit, and money is the first thing any company cares about, then, when they turn up being busted in every way, we get crap like this.
Or, they could simply not run full spotlights like they used to and instead just recreate individual skill videos when abilities gain/lose functions.

They do new champion spotlights for full reworks, partial rework spotlights are pointless because the kit had minor changes and on those champions new players are not going to look at spotlights for that.
