@Riot Issues with connecting are out of hand

This is the 4th time in the past week and a half that I just never connected and was slapped with an AFK and now placed in lower priority que (again, already placed there once after 3rd failure to connect). This last game I was sitting there waiting to connect and then all of a sudden it takes me to an exploding rift saying "Defeat" and I get placed into the end-game wrap up with all the other players where I was fully able to chat with them and had no signs of lost connection.

This is completely unacceptable product delivery as you are not only penalizing me, but increasing the severity of your penalties every time it happens. At this rate, as I continue the play the game normally you will soon restrict me from ranked for no fault of my own and likely strip me from rewards or something along those lines.

I see this way too often with others as well. One DC is present in about 10-20% of the games played based on using my own recent match history.

Either fix your client or stop punishing people for not connecting. It's a serious problem.
