WARNING: Scam site trying to trick people with "free mysterry skins" do not believe it!

Thought I should warn everyone that there is another scam going on. People are messaging other people telling them that there is a Riot "free mysterry skin" event going on and telling them to visit a link. (Name withheld) "(link withheld) heey go get your mystery skin its fuc*in amazing I got Spirit udyr"

Like most scams it seemed too good to be true so I did some research. The site being linked has been scamming gamers for years from multiple different popular gaming companies. Mysteriously (cue faux gasps of shock) people who visited this site in the past have reported lost money, hacked accounts, etc.

Gee who would have guessed that a free skin event not mentioned anywhere officially could in fact be a scam, right? "No, Miss Tristana , I am not the big bad Warwick wearing a Poppy mask at all! You can trust me that this is real and safe free stuff!"

Anyway, enough people usually fall for these type of scams that I felt I should put a warning out not to fall for this one people.

Note: To avoid name shaming I will not post the messager's name who sent me this scam message, and to prevent the risk of being thought of as promoting a scam site I refrained from posting the link too. Just be aware if you receive anything like this message that unless you can find official notice of the site being listed as officially riot endorsed then it is definitely a scam and a little google, reddit, facebook, twitter, or youtube search will usually find proof of it being a scam site.
