Also is gold like silver where most people fuck around and dont take the game seriously?

every ELO (from my experience until d4) is like this, dont expect to get players who suddenly cooperate and play their best champs.

When you play ADC anything can blow you up, at your levels i also think most supports will likely either not know how to peel assassins/divers or play mage supports who will try to carry themselves. Stay back, never try going to the enemy backline, i remember in these levels people will flame you for not "focusing the adc" but unless the enemy adc is in your attack range, just attack the target closest that is also the highest threat to your team, if no one can deal with the tank/bruisers, focus them.

Dont be afraid to build against the team you're against, dont always go for the same build, if suddenly you're against a full AD build, sometimes bulding Ninja tabi instead of AS boots can be a good idea, If you're against catchers investing into quicksilver early (after your first item or 2) can be a good idea, even if you dont plan on finishing it.

Lastly, a dead adc does 0 damage, prioritize staying alive (but to an extent, dont leave you team without your DPS) over trying to go for big plays and diving the backline.

Good luck and have fun

Hiya, I’m not advocating for using any particular site (and especially not for paying for things that, imo, aren’t very helpful such as “coaching” tips), but there’s a site called Mobalytics that takes your stats and play from your recent games and gives you some tips for improvement.

To give a little preview of what it says about your play as ADC, your lowest “proficiencies” are the categories of “farming”, “vision”, and “survivability”. Vision is your lowest, so I’ll go in a bit more depth as to what it says about that:

Placement: There are many times in a game where you will be sitting on one or even two trinket wards if you have yellow trinket, or you sell yellow trinket for red and don’t ward anymore. Wards aren’t just used for knowing when a gank is coming - they are used to help your teammates track the enemy’s movement, especially within the river and jungle. As such, sometimes it’s more useful to go ward midway down the river - as long as you have good map awareness, this actually gives you more advance warning of a gank, and also allows your top and jungle to play around when the enemy jungle is bot side.

Denial: I’m not sure if mobalytics is bugged or if you simply don’t buy control wards. If you don’t buy control wards, start. If you have 75 gold left over when you buy, you should be buying a control ward each back. It is also a good idea to buy a control ward over one extra potion if you can do that and afford it, even if you only have none or one potion. The benefits of vision denial are numerous - if you clear wards in the river and/or your tribrush, you are allowing your jungle to remain unseen when they are pathing, which helps your jungle gank successfully. If you put a control ward in the river brush, it can help the jungle come to your lane, because the jungle will know whether the enemy has warded that bush or not. You can also use a control ward as a quick ward when you are out of trinket charges (ex: if the enemy may be getting dragon, rift, or baron). It’s even possible to bait an enemy using a control ward - many players try to clear control wards ASAP, and you can use this urge to your advantage by baiting them into clearing a control ward then killing them.

Vision Impact: Mobalytics uses the Riot vision score (in game vision score) adjusted for your champion you’re playing. Your average vision score (adjusted) is <12. Keep in mind that your vision score is raised both by gaining vision and denying vision - you should aim for this to be much higher.

Again, I’m not saying use one site over another - op.gg offers some basic statistics, League of Graphs offers some statistics, and even just looking at the official in-client match history and/or watching your replays can help. But the first step is identifying something you can improve on, and the next step is determining how to improve - and a third party (be it a website, a friend, your stream chat if you stream, etc) may help with that.
