How do some people lay on the floor comfortably? (Science Discussion)

In some cultures people regularly sleep on the floor without a problem. Korean people do it all the time. Some health nuts claim that it's good for your back and etc. However, when I lay on the floor I notice that...

the side of my hip bone hurts because its pressed into the floor when I lay on my side, the back of my heels hurt when I lay on my back because the bone is pressed into the floor. The back of my head also hurts from being pressed into the floor. Any bony part of my body hurts if it gets pressed into hard floor. Also I'm not skinny, I just don't have much fat on the back of my heels, my ankles, sides of my hips, back of my head and etc.
They say you're supposed to use your arms to support your neck, but my arm isn't thick enough to hold my neck completely straight if I lay my head on it.

Lay on your stomach, tuck your arms under your head, lay flat, boom.

Your arms ARE thick enough. If they aren't, you're deformed. Sometimes, I even find sleeping on the floor gives me a better night's sleep than on my bed. If I had to choose, I'd probably choose the floor, but I must follow the general conventions of society or else THEY will come get me. << >>

The scientific reason is their muscles are stronger in that capacity and more accustomed to holding body position on a hard surface.

Soft surfaces conform more to your body and require you to hold yourself up less. The more you lay on soft surfaces, the less you're required to use those muscles, the less comfortable you'll be on a hard surface (if it isn't made to conform specifically to your body).

Sometimes you just have to get use to it. A few years ago I hurt my back, was in terrible pain for months and months. The doctors said I has 2 slipped disks and a herniated disk, there was no end in sight to the pain. And when I say pain I mean the most excruciating pain ive ever felt in the 26 yearsive been alive.

Long story shorter I went to prison 2 years ago, like not jail but prison. The beds at the facility I was at felt like you were sleeping on a cement floor. It sucked and was super uncomfy for a while But the damndest thing happened; after about 3 months my back pain completely vanished. Like 100% . still, 2 years later completely pain free. Tho the nnew firm matress and daily gym probably help too
