Relic shield in top lane needs a nerf.
It gives almost the same amount of stats as doran's shield. costs 100 less (which allows you to start with refill pot), AND GENERATES BONUS GOLD. like wtf

When support top laners are more viable than 2 classes that are meant to be up there (Bruisers and fighters).
It is getting nerfed in 8.4
They really should remove the bandit passive from all support items.

remove all support and jungle items. There should have never been items dedicated to a "class". That's terrible game design.

instead of nerfing it how about fixing toplane so it isn't overall shit to play (it's been shit to play long before relic shield started being viable)
What has to be done is something that riot has been refusing to do for years. Make relic procs and bandit go on cooldown when you last hit a minion, like the did with FQC back in the day, this would have stopped ad's from abusing it a few patches ago too but w/e they will probably rework it again to something dumb that will get abused by other lanes
gold generation items are literally the only way to keep up with bot lanes cheap itemization these days.
make zeal items cost 300 more gold and nerf turret first blood, then we can talk about bruisers and top lane carries in general not picking support items anymore.
Hey maybe the main problem wasn't that adcs ruin it all and it was that Supp items were/are overtuned.
Anyway I'm glad that it was solved on botlane and I hope it's also changed in toplane because it's unhealthy for the game.
