League of Legends Caribbean

The thought has been bothering me for almost two years now. How possible is it to have a Caribbean server for Summoners that live in the Caribbean and play on NA, LAN and LAS? Also Esports' team counts can expand with the introduction of teams within the Caribbean (Caribbean LCS).

The league community is extremely vase with players from almost every corner of the planet. I am studying Information Technology and I understand that the creation of a server would be pricey and time consuming so that it can get off the ground.

Anyone else here has ever considered a server for their region?

As someone from Trinidad (furthest Caribbean country from LAN server in Miami and NA server), I get 50-70 ping on LAN. Also NA has dropped to 90-100 ping (with good ISP routing) so it's not really unplayable. If by Caribbean server you mean a completely different server from NA/LAN, then it'll just be empty and pointless (near impossible to find late-night matches). If you mean a server house for the already existing ones, it's not a bad idea but I really don't think it's necessary. For the USA West Coast, the NA server gives 60 ping, so our 50-70 LAN ping (max, even less if you live in another Caribbean country north of us) isn't bad at all since that's our intended server.

yea I think you guys should absolutely ask for it, you should suggest it to both Riot and Tencent. Tencent do read your suggestions by the way
