Orange essence got nerfed way too hard and is now essentially useless

Before the IP rework, I was lucky enough to get a Pulsefire Ezreal skin shard on my account. I was saving orange essence in order to unlock it, disenchanting every skin I got. I received quite a few nice skins, including legacy skins and one legendary, that I saved from disenchantment in case I would want to unlock them instead. However, after the blue essence rework, their orange essence value got trashed. My legacy skin is worth just 200 orange essence, and even my legendary is only worth 500. I need 3000 orange essence for pulsefire ezreal, how am I ever supposed to reach that?

I dont even wanna unlock it just by playing, I would be willing to spend real money on chests. But with the low orange essence value, I would probably save money by buying the skin directly instead of buying it with orange essence, despite getting lucky enough to receive the shard.

This definitely seems wrong. Orange essence got gutted way too hard. Riot, you need to increase the value of skin shards again.
