What version of the core support items did you like most?

Overtime, the 3 core support items (Relic Shield, Spellthief, and Ancient Coin) have been constantly changed to try and improve the experience for support players. Their items have been constantly changed for experimentation. I want to know what you guys think was the best version of the support items?

Version 1: You could choose to combine your sightstone with your support item to save an item slot or have your support item and sightstone be separate items in exchange your support item was very powerful. They were Face of the Mountain, Frostqueen, Talisman.

Version 2: Support items have quests added to them that allow players to use something powerful when they were completed. Relic path in a nutshell gave a Malphite shield for killing minions, Spellthief path gave a movement speed boost for hitting enemies with abilities. Ancient coin path allowed you to level up one of your abilities for free.

Version 3 (Current Version): Sightstone is removed as a buyable item but the support quests now give sightstone as a reward for completing them but the powerful support rewards are removed.

Version 4 (PBE version): Ancient coin path is removed. There are now two versions of both the Relic path and Spellthief, one granting AP and another granting AD. They upgrade on their own without forcing support players to spend gold on their core support item allowing players to start on their true items first but in exchange the stats on the core support items are weaker.

Season 4-5 was the golden age of support items (and vision in general) though I started playing in 4 so I can't comment on what came before that.

id like version 3 with the support item and sight stone. i think since the removal of this has allowed and contributed to the power creep and full mages going support.

typically supports kits are balanced around lack of resources that can be used towards building raw damage items. so since supports can get basically free 900 gold with removal of sight stone and with trinkets who knows how much gold to no longer having to buy green wards. this allows mage "supports" to go and build raw damage with little to no downside.

on the other hand it has open up support diversity a bit

I liked the item that gave you a permanent bonus and left your inventory once you hit 10 or whatever.

1 version because the red item gave if I remember 15proc. item CDR which was really OP.. And it was pretty simple, no quests and no restrictions to unlock wards, you just buy the item as soon as possible and use it.. Now its just BS...
