I personally don't see SKT getting anywhere close to the finals if only because their roster is far more shakier than in previous years. While Huni has the most upside of all of their previous top-laners, he's also still prone to tilt and can become a massive liability in games even if he goes the tank-it-out route. Their two current junglers also make gameplanning against them a bit easy, as peanut almost dictates that they play aggressively while with blank you're getting "el classico". While I was burned on this idea before (as the notion of teams actually planning against SKT is something I've come to doubt), I'm thinking we'll see SSG and either RNG or EDG in the finals with the semis having the two other korean teams.

Isn't Longzhu surprising everyone with beating out SKT? I wouldn't doubt either SKT or Longzhu winning this year tbh. I hope it's Longzhu, please no more SKT skins :^ )

I would have to say neither. The worlds meta so far is shaping up to not be that Top carries meta that Khan is used to dominating, in the favor of what other major regions have been playing all summer split. Yes, I am NA biased but this is the year that I feel NA has a real shot at actually cracking semi's and possibly finals. SKT has failed to live up to their norm from MSI to Korean Finals. I do believe their ability to dominate like they have in the past is gone. Peanut ruined that synergy even though they still have Blank. NA has the chance to get all 3 teams out of group stage since C9 will probably take both games from EDG and AHQ with a nice chance to take their game vs SKT as well in Group A. Even EU fans know Longzhu and Immortals are getting out of Group B. Xmithie, Olleh and Pobs will give this entire group some heartache. Sorry EU fans and sorry Caps. Have fun with this group's Mid lanes. Pob, BDD and Optimus. I do not envy you. Group C is def a toss up. It depends on who can take games from who. I want to have hope for G2, but flashbacks on last year and to many brackets being decimated due to those shenanigans. I feel RNG are def making it out, but 1st of 2nd is still confusing. G2 should be able to run through this group undefeated but feel your cursed G2. RNG and SSG getting out, sorry. And last but def, not least. Group D, TSM and WE are making it out. Don't really care at this point since last year they came in with so many expectations, and then to not make it out was so disappointing. Misfits and Flash Wolves lose both games to TSM and WE. Then I believe TSM should waltz through WE given there performances in play-in Stage games as well as knockouts. Even though WE won every game. They just do not seem to be the WE that they are known to be like MSI. Come on MISFITS. Your my darkhorse. Roll through Group D and get out in 2nd place. I believe they have a chance if they come to play. Lets do it. WORLDS 2017!!!!

Well, after the quarter finals draw, I can only think about two teams, Longzhu & SKT, and they will face each other on the finals!
