THE RANKING SYSTEM IN THIS GAME IS GARBAGE!

"There are just so many factors that go into ranking, we cannot explain them all"

ANYONE WHO SAYS THIS IS FALSE.

This game has lost ALL credibility in its ranking and let me tell you why.

I have 3 friends I play with regularly and 1 random I just played with last game. I finished Silver V, they finished Silver II Promos, Silver III Promos, and mid Silver IV (the random was unranked last season) NOW.... 2 of my friends and I finished 3-7 in PLACEMENTS this season. EXPLAIN TO ME how they are placed in Silver V and Bronze I and I AM RANKED BRONZE III? I did extremely well in all games except 1 feeding game with Tristana, and a bad game with illaoi but not that bad. ONE OF MY FRIENDS WENT 2-8 AND STILL WAS PLACED SILVER V.... IT MAKES NO SENSE! And don't forget the random person. He finished 1-9 and currently has a 6%(or something around there) ranked win ratio at 1-13 and HE WAS RANKED BRONZE I..., This is ridiculous....

For tl;dr

Friend 1: Silver I Promos last season---> 2-8 Placements (feeding every game except one) ----> Silver V Friend 2: Mid Silver II last season ----> 3-7 Placements (fed bad in each loss, and went even during wins) ---> Silver V Friend 3: Mid Silver IV last season -----> 3-7 Placements (FED SO BAD IN EVERY SINGLE GAME) ----> Bronze I Random: Unranked last season----> 1-9 Placements (HAS a 6% ranked record, fed bad in every game he's ever played) ---> Bronze I Me: Mid Silver V last season ---> 3-7 Placements (fed 2 losses, carried wins and near perfect CS, positive KDR in all games)--> Bronze III

FIX YOUR RANKING SYSTEM.... GOTDAMN!

You can buy platinum accouts for 20 bucks a pop, and you think the ranking system is valid? It never has been.

What's the problem exactly?

-Friends 1 and 2 both tanked harder than you at 4 divisions. From higher up the ladder than you too I might add.

-Friend 3 only dropped 2. His MMR probably belongs in high silver and he probably played his placements against people around that skill level, thus why the system was so lenient.

-Random stranger is unranked. Probably low-mid bronze skill level but the system hasn't figured it out yet so he's getting pitched against silvers and golds. I could be wrong, but I don't know if a fresh account can even start any lower than that.

-You had a middle-of-the-road placement dropping 3

-I haven't finished this seasons placements yet, but I regularly tank 3-4 divisions and average a 40-60% win rate.

The system doesn't take into account score because you can technically win a game for your team even with a shit KDA (conversely you can also lose a game for your team as a 34-1-23 Vayne).

Although in the last season I got bronze 3 (won 1 and lost 9)(Reasonable), my average performance is around gold and sometimes silver. I always have at least 20 assist and below 6 deaths guarantee, always being helpful to my team. I just finished my provision for 2018, won 6 and lost 4, and got bronze 4. [zombie-brand-clap]

it's based on mmr it takes into account the mmr (rank, if you want, but not quite) that you had last season

I went like 3 7 and ended up plat 2
