League Community Shifting?

Just had a really good game as kass. I don't play him much but he is fun every now and again. So I'm playing this norms game and this rengar has a hard on for me and I'm literally 1-4 early game. No big deal, shrug it off and congrats my team on their accomplishments. I was against "LoLRank1NA" so I wasn't beating myself up too much. Well, my godlike udyr comes mid and gets us dumb fed on this Galio (My mid lane opponent). So Galio's crying and saying how bad I am and udyr and I just go straight dogs. Typing shit like "woof" it sounds weird now but it was hype as shit when we were playing. We started bantering with the galio and rengar, definitely friendly banter but would look to toxic to someone who didn't know the situation lol. Anyways after the game ( we won of course) everyone is saying "report report report" and shit and I start talking to the other team and they said gg gl and basically that we all played well. Galio even going as far to say that I "played a hard game, on the real".

I think league has shifted its face a little, or maybe its just my elo. Idk just wanted to share.

I can actually give you a clear answer on that. Yes, there is a shift as of late.

Coming back after being gone for a while, after being on since beta, The attitude has gone from:

Chill, fun, no worries about meta, crazy stuff happening everywhere

to

Snippy competition, rude influx of younger audience, less fun, more meta driven

to

Flat out toxic, with a majority of matches ending in someone reported, flaming, etc. Most of the fun is gone. It is mostly competitive now.

To current

Some bad eggs. The fun seems to be back for the most part, and people are not as aggravated about following the meta. Crazy stuff is starting to happen again too!
