She was a hybrid adc and assassin to clean up fights. I loved it.
tbf, Old quinn was great. The only change she needed was ways to control her Harrier.
Shitting on Quinns who think they counterpicked me is one of my favorite things to do 
The amount of movement speed she gets when Valor is carrying her is BS
Turning into a fast melee bird was the reason I started playing Quinn in the first place.

Riot will soon streamline all the interesting champs, so that braindead kiddies could "more easily understand the champions".
Old Quinn was the reason I mained her for as long as I can remember, new Quinn is just generic and indistinguishable from every other ADC - Valor isn't even a part of the team no more, he's just kinda there.
I hated the Quinn rework then, I hate a little less now, but I still hate it. In-fact, I'll go so far as to say that all of the reworks so far have essentially dumbed down otherwise fun champions for who knows what reason at this point.
Her rework screams "Incompetence" and "laziness" on the part of the person or people responsible for it, shame on them! ...but I doubt they care. [slayer-jinx-unamused]
