If you play Support you should get more IP.

I kind of like playing support because I like having a lane partner, buuuut ultimately the role just sucks. you don't get any kind of build because you don't get any farm or kills, nobody gives a damn about you except what they expect out of you. Fulfill those expectations and be ignored, or don't and get yelled at and accused of feeding. Everyone else can just totally ignore using their free ward trinket and nobody says anything, but if YOU as the Support aren't warding, you can be sure you're going to hear about it.

I mean, hell, people don't even honor supports at the end of the match. they honor the guy who carried. That's the thing that really bugs me, after the game is done, nobody even thinks to go "hey, good job for taking the crap role that nobody wants. I appreciate that!" Oh yeah, and ultimately, if your ADC is terrible, what are you supposed to do as support? You have nothing -to- support.

I main support and disagree with the whole "if your adc sucks you have nothing to support" idea. You can always leave the lane if you think your ADC isn't going to be able to carry the game. Play champions like Thresh, Alistar, Blitz and Rakan if you don't want to have to depend on your adc. Support can be frustrating at times, especially when you're playing a sustain support and your team doesn't seem capable of fully utilizing what you have to offer (ahem bad team gg wp ff 15 sort of situation). However, it can be a very rewarding role if you enjoy the macro side of the game. It is also a great role to play when you're in a premade with coms.

TLDR: People don't enjoy playing support but handing out rewards for playing it won't make people want to play the role more. The role would have to be changed drastically for that to occur.
