DnD Pathfinder: need advice

I am quite new to dnd (Pathfinder) and our GM allows the feat leadership to be used, so due to my current charisma modifier, I can gain a level 7 consort while at level 7. Any class recommendations for this cohort? Im thinking of taking a class with abilities that are always useful

My OC is currently a summoner playing with a vigilante, gunslinger, cleric, and mesmerist(?) I think

Probably wont make another summoner as a cohort. Its a dick move and making the character sheets were already a pain. Any recommendations?

You keep saying consort and I'm thinking like the pleasure kind, ANYWAY, I don't know Pathfinder as well as DnD, but whatever tank class there is is the one I suggest, another took to keep you save while you throw spells and shit.

I'm guessing it's not as broken as 3/3.5 leadership. Let's see. A level 7 wizard would have 4th level spells...that's where things start to get really powerful, but then you also have to keep track of a lot of extra things.

Always a decent idea to keep a Swiss army knife around though.

Dnd 5e or Pathfinder?

Those are two different editions.
