@Riot When multiple "Nerf Aatrox pls" threads starts to appear, ignore them.
New Aatrox in proplay became a thing just as much as old Aatrox, even bullies out bigger bullies like Darius & Renekton themselves. Aatrox players in public already getting more sense in playing his kit compared to before. We have to admit that the Aatrox rework was quite a success, despite the big shift from being an Auto-Attacker to a Caster type. I mean, this doesn't come as a surprise after the past reworks we had, one mainly Galio.

Also, before someone gives me the "all new champions riot releases are bad for a while" argument, I can tell Aatrox sucks just from his kit alone. His numbers aren't the problem, it's his abilities and how they tie in with one another.

The thing about Aatrox is that even if they buffed him, players would just walk away from him because he has no hard CC to lock them in place to land his combo reliably.

Whether or not Aatrox is a high skill cap champion that is secretly OP or not - his kit design seems (at least from my point of view) quite poor.

He's lumbering, immobile, is kited easily, his combo takes forever to execute.

The entire champ is a dysfunctional, uninteresting pile of trash. Just revert the rework. No one's going to play this champ in a few weeks.

They can put this Horrible Rework as a new champ Called Shit and then return the OLD Aatrox GOD
