I guess I’m going to have to quit my job and never attend another class in university again. I should probably just forfeit my drivers license now, because I do not deserve it. I probably should send an apology letter to everyone who has ever made eye contact with me because honestly, it wasn’t my place. I know this now because someone in the video game League of Legends told me this a ranked low-plat game. If you want to talk about the societal hierarchies top tier, man it doesn’t get any better than that guy. Thanks Low-Plat Guy, I am so happy to know my place in life because of you.

In this scenario, I'd say "know your place" should be interpreted as: " Know when you can tower dive. You obviously couldn't this time".
