I've been wondering, why are all the battle bosses mages?
I'd love to see a battle boss jarvan tbh, or malphite, guess they takin advantage of lotsa effect uses

A bowser clone Tahm woulda been funny.
A friend of mine bitched about it to rioters personally since he would have loved a more balanced team.
Short suggestions no where near his full list was like Kayle cause she is a bitch would be a good boss, shyvana, draven, anyone that either had a boss attitude or was really strong at the time. Was a good list shame he didn't want to dig through years of comments to find it.
Mostly like you said spell effects sadly. Someone mentioned the splashy telegraphed nature of the champs mimicing boss fights the best. Which made sense but still imagine a 4k hp bruiser shyvana rushing you spitting 8bit flames and all that as you're panicking to get away safely or someone like that.

TBH it's probably because of the video game trope of boss fights spamming things at you that you have to dodge
