Once a game is released and worse than E.T for the Atari then its just over lol
People trying to defend this game in those youtube comments but man even with these new patches the steam reviews are still fucking terrible lol
I mean just watching the interviews, the guy would be asked a question about features, smile and look away. Then he chose to do something the gaming industry likes to call "Lying through their teeth." It was so obvious from his body language he was lying, I warned people but they still bought it. During the interview with Stephen Colbert, he literally let go of the right side of his Xbox controller, yet on the screen the character still managed to use something mapped to X. It was clearly pre-recorded and editted.
It HAS improved a lot of the problems, but the damage is already done. They may win back people who already bought the game, but that doesn't do anything for their financial situation. It is STILL missing some of the core features the developers promised.

The game's launch solidified it's eternal nickname, No Man's Buy. I refuse to give my money to a developer who let they hype and rumours get so out of hand that they started spreading them themselves.
Lul. I remember how many times i was told this was going to be one of the best games ever. Glad i didn't waste any money or buy into the hype

and @OP 90% of bad steam reviews are from people with .5 Hours playtime. Recent reviews went from 26% positive to 80% positive overnight after the update. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I know 6 people who hated the game before this update that are now playing non stop bc this update gave the game direction and much more content. Pull your head out of your high and mighty ass and maybe you might enjoy it too
Sounds like it might be a solid game in another year or two.
