What popular/well received games do you hate?

Slime Rancher: This game is genuinely a piece of absolute garbage and I do not understand how anyone enjoys playing it. All of the slimes are just "blob with different colors", inventory management is a MASSIVE chore, exploration is slow and dull, and selling more than 20 of a given plort tanks it's price for the next few in-game weeks. I forced myself, mostly out of utter boredom, to play at least 8h of the game, but I eventually realized I'd rather sit alone with my thoughts than sit in front of a storage receptacles pressing buttons on my mouse for hours on end. I have no idea how this game has overwhelmingly positive on Steam and why the majority of the reviews say something like "SLIME RANCHER CURED MY DEPRESSION11!11!"

Overwatch: every single match is the same.

Breath of The Wild: Fun for about 10h. Then I realized I would be doing the same couple of things for the next 100 hours and put it down. I know it's cliche as fuck but the game really is wide as an ocean and deep as a puddle. There's like, 6 enemy types in the whole game, the same number of biomes, and about 4 types of shrines.

Dark Souls 2: I know everyone says "that's the worst one!" but I don't enjoy games that revel in being challenging because, while I enjoy a challenge, I do not enjoy games that go out of their way to beat the shit out of me.

Minecraft: Everything is so slow in survival, the mobs are so obnoxious, and the game oscillates between "zero combat challenge" and "six creepers attacking you in your house."

TFT/Hearthstone/etc.: Sorry but I cannot stand RNG in my competitive games. I understand that RNG has no bearing on if I can climb or not because everyone faces the same odds, but that doesn't make me feel any better when I get dicked over by a bad roll.

Any roguelike: FTL: FTL, crypt of the necro dancer, binding of isaac, spelunky, etc. does not matter. I cannot lie, I kind of suck at video games so usually I use superior game knowledge and grinding to get past most challenges my mechanics can't handle, so I end up not enjoying games that hinge upon mechanics and lack the ability to build up a character over time.

The Last of Us: Falls into the trope of too many games these days where we follow a morally bereft asshole but because its his story we consider it 'morally grey' and 'good storytelling' instead of just promoting shit people as heroes.

Fallout 3: Because I played New Vegas first going to 3 is just a strict downgrade in pretty much every way.

Binding of Issac: I'm not that good when it comes to games pushing the difficulty upfront

Most NES Games: Same reason as Issac

Final Fantasy...All of it : I really just have zero interest in this franchise as a whole and find most JRPG's that aren't pokemon to be kind of a slog.

"Traditional" MMO's (World of Warcraft, Tera, Black desert online, FF14, Runescape ETC): I was a big fan of runescape back in 2007-2011 as a pure F2Player. But playing one MMO woke me up to the grind of every other MMO and i'm just not interested in a game that want's that much investment out of me in pure grinding.

Doki Doki Literature Club / FNAF: Undertale syndrome ("Fanbase") without the game being as fantastic as Undertale to justify their hype.

further clarification on the minecraft one: love building technical stuff but hate resource gathering, fighting mobs, and how you need to explore for hours to find certain things that are vital for continuing to play the game.

Well a pretty obvious one but fortnite, i get spammed with 'its the new season and a new load of crap' on youtube every season but no matter how many times i dislike it keeps coming back.

Alao so many game companies try to make their own crappier version of it and expecting it to be popular, like "planetside arena" what is special about an asset flip of planetside 2. If you cant get to stage 2 of 3 in any balance initiative what chance do you have of constantly improving a battle royale that has to have frequent updates.

Skyrim - Didn't play with mods but It was pretty meh, considering the hype.

Dark Souls - I like fast paced action games a lot more.

The Witcher 3 - Started it but couldn't get into it, probably try again later.

I don't like any Battle Royale games.
