A defensive change I would really like to see

Inspiration passively giving a bunch of flat Armor/MR, instead of more stats from another tree taken - 18% AS from Precision, +12 AD from Domination, etc. A bunch of raw offensive stats coming from a largely defensive/utility tree is obnoxious; a very cost-effective amount of Armor/MR on the other hand can be really nice and help squishier champions make it to mid/lategame more easily.

Keep in mind that it would HAVE to be a very cost-effective amount of armor + MR, possibly moreso than any other tree would give. Maybe 5 armor/6 MR? Essentially what those defensive runes from Resolve used to give before they got removed? Maybe even more?
