Velkoz mid with spellthiefs edge?

I've been wanting to try this in a game, you see Vel Koz needs mobility as it is, the fully stacked queens claim to give him movement speed, a slow and free gold. This item is also really cheap, does anyone else think this would be a good item on vel?
