How to fix Riven... the right way.
Riot, I honestly do not understand your logic in all these mostly irrelevant cd increases to her ultimate over the past year in an attempt to quell her redonkulous (potential) damage output, mobility, and crowd control. Honestly when all of these traits are combined they are overkill and can result in some unfair situations for many match ups. Sure she has some weaknesses but instead of giving you a wall of examples, numbers, or explanations I will keep it short and simple. You have to do something about either her mobility, excessive crowd control (with proper cool down reduction), or her massive damage output. Lets look at the damage aspect... wait oh snap her passive is a free mini sheen that is stackable.... and in your braindead states thought to make it scale with total ad over bonus ad. My suggestion: change/ nerf her passive scaling to 5% bonus ad to lvl 2, 8% bonus ad to lvl 5, 15% bonus ad to lvl 9, 20% bonus ad to lvl 13, and finally 25% bonus ad lvl 14 on. Because honestly which one of your balancing guys thought it was a good idea to give her a 50% total ad bonus damage (this is her current maxed out passive at whatever lvl it is and honestly the bonus even early levels is just stupid free 200 gold worth easily imo) on auto attacks for every spell cast? Jokes on you I do not care, it was a retorical question. I am sure this will be downvoted to hell and back by brain dead riven mains who actually think she takes a lot of skill. She takes some skill but not much at all and that is all the respect I will ever give her.
So to fix Riven in a nutshell: Make her passive scale with lower ratios with bonus ad. It surely will not stop a fed riven from rofl stomping some adc who gets caught but she now has to work to get damage out instead of instabursting squishies with RQaaQaaQaaWaa.
