Do you think ap items need a minor update?

It seem is core on every mage and I felt a little disappointed with the last update of the mage items compared to the ADC items. Now the Assassins got some new items and again seem better than what mages got.

Should mage items get a second look by riot ? Compared to the other reworks, mage item just dull.
