I went from Silver 1 to Bronze 3

I get most people were placed higher than they ought to be, but de-ranking me this much because I lost one game? I was expecting to be placed at most to silver 3 or 4 if I lost, not fucking bronze 3. I didnt even do that poorly in the game, I was winning at first but then we got flipped and lost and because of this i got WAY lower?

That seems unfair given people can have off games, why are you all of a sudden so strict on this? Do you want people to just stomp lower ranks and ruin the fun for people who are trying to climb but cant because this new system brought higher up people down? I thought riot hated smurfing?

I get this is preseason so it doesnt matter THAT much, but riot said that if you do well in the preseason it will help you with your placements in season 7. So really if i just left it as is right now, I would get no higher than Bronze 3 in my placements in flex que season 7.

I was bronze 1 so I'm about to be garbage 5 XD I don't really care tho tbh, I could've easily made it to silver 3 at least if I played more ranked so climbing up the ranks shouldn't be a HUGE problem

Dude same fucking thing. I even made a rant post and emailed them. This is so stupid i played fifty games and was killing it. worked my way up and felt great about myself. now i'm fucking bronze and getting trolls. i fucking hate this game AND riot.

I also just played my "rank placement fix" game after winning 6/10. I won another to make it 7, and suddenly I'm in Bronze 2 when I ended Silver 2 and was literally just placed in Silver 2 two days ago. What hot buttery bullshit is this?? I fele your frustration and hopefully they will give a better answer as to why they did this.

Well all challengers, diamonds, and masters are in plat 1 now. What does that mean? That means all plats and diamonds are kicked out of plat and sent to gold because they can't compete with challengers or masters. What does that mean? Golds and plats kicked to silver- low gold. What does that mean? golds and silvers are bronze because they can't compete with plats.4 Edit: btw don't be mad ur in b3... THATS A GOOD THING. You know how fun it is to shit on bronzies? You feel dominant and good for a while.

in flex i got put in bronze 1, then recently demoted to 2,it just feels like no matter how good i do , the team will find a way to screw it up.i feel like i am just a bystander i have no say in what 4 other people do...so damn frustrating

Yes. Riot's fix is mostly throwing people in Bronze/Silver so the good players will climb out of there, However most of people stopped playing Flex after this went live

It doesn't really matter that you lost the game: a lot of people dropped several divisions after winning the extra placement game. It really wasn't about whether you won or lost, Riot just decided to "fix" everyone's ranking after their next ranked game.

A lot of people have reported big drops in ranking. It's not a big deal, since it will partially reset again in a couple months when season 7 starts.

dude...... you were silver 3 in dynamic of course you going to get bronze in flex placements. Bronze 3 is like perfect... the system did its job.
