General Gameplay Suggestion
Okay, hear me out. First I should say I couldn't find a board explicitly for suggestions, but after seeing a mod respond positively to a suggestion in the Gameplay board, I'm assuming this is the place for them.
Second, I'm not much for the forums, nor suggestions.. Mostly because what I have to say usually has already been said before, but this time is different. While browsing through champion ability demonstrations through the in-game champion list, I had an idea that would be a nice touch to the game that would reach almost everybody. So, I can't take the chance that it might not have been said before.
While watching the video of
Sejuani's R, I noticed there's lacking clarification in the skill-shot indicator. I noticed there's no way to tell the radius of effect without actually testing it in-game. So I imagined: What if you could see that AoE-size indicator at the end? Then I thought, would it be placed on the end? Or under the mouse? Or then maybe, I had a better idea: What if the AoE circle traveled down the skill-shot indicator at the exact speed it really does travel? This would solve another problem: People who play multiple champions would find it easier to adjust to changing missile speeds, because the indicator tells you missile speed. Abilities like
Brand's Q would travel as a single (maybe fireball-shaped), indicator down the skillshot indicator, where-as things like Sejuani's R would have a more donut-looking shape. One outline for the missile hit-box, and another for the splash range.
In the end I know it's a small wall 'o text, but I feel like this is something worth discussing. Thanks for your time!
